Numberland and Little Duck’s Adventureland, two early childhood education programmes developed by Prof. Gerhard Preiss, make learning mathematics exciting and entertaining for young children.
These programmes take a holistic approach to education and aim to teach children much more than just mathematics: each child is encouraged to develop his or her talents and to learn a variety of new skills (social, verbal, problem-solving skills, etc.).
Quack, quack, quack! Here comes Little Duck!
In Little Duck’s Adventureland, children between 2 ½ and 4 years old make many new discoveries about the world around them and learn basic mathematics concepts in a playful way. Prof. Preiss developed this holistic mathematics programme to meet the growing demand for high-quality early childhood education.
"Be kind to numbers, and the numbers will be kind to you." Prof. Gerhard Preiss
Professor Preiss’s Numberland programme enables children between 4 and 6 years of age to learn about numbers in a hands-on and fun way, and helps them to build up knowledge about the world and associate this knowledge with their own lives.
